I believe the IO-Gear 2 port USB 2.0 should work. But, if the printer has an Ethernet connector, you could go through the router for printer sharing and avoid the cost of the IO-Gear 2 port USB 2.0. And, if the printer has wireless capability and the modem-router has wireless capability, that allows another way, i.e., wireless, to set up the printer for access from multiple computers.
