« on: November 28, 2005, 03:16:53 PM »
hey i build my own computer and i recently installed windows 2000 in it everything is great except in the display options when i want to change how many color display in my screen i can only use 16. It is getting very annoying and i can't install some of my programs because of that. If you know how to help let me know.

I typed in what you told me to and 2 window came up that said Under Microsoft DirectDraw is said I must be running in 256 color mode or higher. Then is said under DxDiag Error.....Error: problem getting extra display info, result code = 0x887600de (no DirectDraw support) what should i be looking for under this dxdiag thing that would help me change my colors
