Exactly, just ask for the wifi password wherever you are, e.g. in a cafe.

With that in mind, we've decided to compile a list of all the different chains that offer free Wi-Fi. If you're interested in speed, McDonald's is the most consistent of the bunch, but Best Buy isn't far behind. Nearly all of these just require you to agree to a terms of service, but you won't need a password. Public wifis are very unsafe networks. It contains hackers, snoopers and viruses. If you are gonna use it, I would suggest taking precautionary measures to secure yourselves. Here is a link to a good article with helpful tips to protect yourself.
