    What to do when the blue light on my laptop will not turn off?  I use Windows 10.

    What Make/Model?

    Also, which blue light are you referring to.... laptops can have many?

    Is this a failed shutdown to where the system stays running after shutdown and the system shutdown instruction is not successfully passed to the main board to shut it down?
