Problems with win 98 display

Windows starts in 640x480 and 16 colours. Changing the display size or colour will no take affect after restarting. I assume that the problem is that the computer doesn't restart properly. Any clues anybody.

Try re-installing your video drivers. To identify them right clik an empty spot on the desktop choose properties then settings and choose advanced and then adapter...
They can usually be DLoaded from the vid card manuf. website if you don't have them handy.
