    I have 200 files..when I double-click on the first one it lights up..how do I light them all up

    Presuming Microsoft Windows...

    All at once:
    Single left click any one then hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and tap the A key.
    Or
    Single left click the first file, hold down the SHIFT key, and then left click the last file.

    One by one:
    Single left click the first file, then hold down the Ctrl key, and keeping it held down, left single click, one by one, the files you want to select. First click on a file selects, second click unselects, further clicks cycle through select/unselect.
