windows 2000 saves passwords
« on: December 11, 2005, 02:01:51 PM »
My windows 2000 saves passwords that I use online and I do not know where or how to stop it happening. I would like to delete the saved passwords (ebay, paypal this site) from windows and stop it from automatically saving them. But I do not know where to look for them. Any suggestions would be welcome, but please remember that I am not too bright at computerese. Thanks. Michaelhenry

DLoad and use CCleaner.
Run it after everytime you log off the web.
Clears cookies, passwords, history etc...very customisable for your needs.

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
    Click the Content tab.
    Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.
