    Hi all, i am facing problems while installing windows 7 on my pc which has 2 gb ram 80 gb hard disk. Sometimes it get hanged on set up is starting , sometimrs it shows no drive detected and sometimes pc hang on copying windows files. What should i do to solve this. Any advice would be a great help and will releive stress from my mind.

    what's the background to why you are reinstalling Win7?
    was there issues?
    what's the age of the PC?
    that 80GB hard drive is ancient, has it been in use all this time, any errors or SMART values to think it may be dying?

    It's the hard drive...replace it.
