I don't think anybody can say whether it will "help you".
I think the feature is a bit redundant considering the taskbar itself and Multiple desktops via the Task View. It also seems to be injecting Edge into OS level features, which you'd think they'd at least have a few brain cells to avoid nowadays.
The feature seems somewhat redundant considering the existence of the taskbar which is quite literally a tabbed interface paired with Multiple Desktops/Task View. For Browsers and MDI applications it makes sense to have separate documents on separate tabs, but that doesn't really apply to most applications, especially when the feature seems to basically let you put together any number of Applications as "tabs" on one Window. It seems like this feature being useful relies specifically on users making use of of Microsoft's Online services; Accounts, Onedrive, Office 365, etc.
it also looks like the feature is probably exclusive to UWP apps.
