PC Build - POST Phase
« on: December 24, 2017, 12:12:16 AM »
Hi,

I've assembled my PC and now I'm in the POST screen phase. What steps do I take from here on? The OS is not yet installed, haven't tested RAM, haven't done anything.

The message that shows is "Reboot and select proper boot device.
Or insert boot media in selected boot device and select a key."

I have W10 on a new disc, though I don't have an optical drive on the PC. I do have one on my laptop, but it's vista. Not sure if that will be a problem.

You can get the Windows ISO to put onto a USB stick from the MS site
Let me see if I can find a link
