    Burning CD
    « on: March 31, 2018, 06:19:23 PM »
    Hello

I am trying to copy files from a bought CD onto my Desktop PC and then burn those same files onto a blank CD (I only have one CD/DVD drive).

I have copied (I think) or read the files from the bought CD into their own folder on my Desktop using ImgBurn. The files in this folder have a strange file name and I am not sure if, again using ImgBurn, they will actually burn onto a blank CD. The files in the folder look like this (attached).

Am I doing this right, please?

      Many thanks for that, Dave.

      I'll take a look.

Sorry for confusion, but that's just a link to the artist that the original CD is from.

From your attached images showing file names I found out the artist info which is where that link leads to. Giving a how to on Duplicating a copyright form of media is against forum rules. My guess is that this CD is protected from direct duplication. To avoid getting in hot water cant really make any suggestions on this subject.  :-\
