How can I fix corrupt User Profile in Windows 10 ?

In another thread I was to I  ought to fix my damaged user profile. I am no sure of theright wayh to do that. Some links seemto be confusing.

Is either right?Oristhere a better way? I have not yet tried anything other tahtn create a new user account. The damaged account is still in the system and I can use it, but it seemsto be missing some parts.

I do not want to edit the registry. Please don't; tell me to edit the registry.
Any recommendations please.

have yet to experience this in Win10, but for all previous OS's the theory was to;

get into Windows any way possible, either Safe Mode or from the temporary profile it creates for you.
then make a new User Account.
reboot normally logging into the new profile.
bring up File Explorer and browse to the old profile and copy your folders to the new profile.

The part where they talked about edit of the registry
Also, if I copy all my stuff, will that not corrupt the user again?  I suspect that an incompatible program might have messed things up.

I've fixed many a corrupted user profile without ever having to touch the registry via the method outlined.the corruption is at the Windows/system level so copying your personal data from the old profile to the new will not 'copy' the corruption.make sure to copy the usual culprits; docs, pics, music, videos, emails, favourites, contacts, desktop, browser profile.
