Recent problemwith multi biit Windows 10 and XP

From when Windows 10 was first introduce I have had old PCs that had dual boot Windows XP and Windows 10.

Recently I have had the boot loader 'forget' Windows XP.

Five times I reset it with a program from Macrium.

Any ideas about why Windows 10 ignores the boot options?
