Two pcs with one Windows 10 license
« on: July 22, 2018, 05:53:17 PM »
This is not a new topic. It has been bounced around many times.
But the right answer  is not just a quick yes or no.

Example: Some companies obtain a single license from Microsoft to allow them to install Windows on a number of PCs under specific rules.

Another example: A technician may be recognized by Microsoft ans a trusted person who with temporary operate a customer PC with his own copy of Windows to perform diagnostics.

Ano0ther case: A user wants to upgrade to a better computer and he has a license to legally let him have Windows on two computers for a short time as a help in transferring files and strings.

The above are all legitimate.  :)

Example #1 is a multi liscense agreement...
Example # 2 is irrelevant as it wouldnt be a legal install...
Example #3 is temporary.

What exactly is your point ? ?

You don't understand #2
A Technician can have permission to use Windos10 to diagnose a customers;s computer even if the customer does not have windows 10. It is also temporary thing.

You can install Windows 10 without a license, but it won't activate.
You do not need a Product ID to perform the install.
It will function but does not allow personalization.
