    is my GPU dead ?
    « on: August 26, 2018, 07:58:10 PM »
Hello I have a PC with an MSI R9 290 in it
Two wings from one of the two fans about two months ago and I used a software (MSI afterburner) to limit my fan speed so that it wont make a lot of noise and vibration but without letting the temps go too crazy as they usually are around the 74-82C depending on the room temp.
Please note that I don't play that much anymore and my gaming sessions don't exceed 3 hours.
Yesterday I was playing a game (fortnite) and I died so I got really mad and hit my desk, my computer immediately shut down and when I tried to start it after it just kept rebooting without anything showing up on the screen, when I took my graphics card out, my PC works fine..
I opened the GPU and nothing looked fried and no smell or anything and when I put it back in my PC it still won't start but please note that the fans do spin.
I am willing to provide any pictures if needed.
    Thank you all.
