SLOW PC

   PC is running very slow on all websites even my emails.it can take 30/40 secs to load up.can you recommend a programe
   for speeding it up /or cleaning it up.there are lots out there but can i trust them.  or what would you suggest.

1) Do not use any 3rd party apps that claim the ability to speed up or clean your computer
2) Is it only slow when browsing? If so, is that with all browsers (Firefox, IE, Opera, etc) or just one?

Check your connection @ speedtest.net

Slow Computer? It may not be Malware for free cleaning/maintenance tools to help keep your computer running smoothly.

  Hello again did as suggested ,and did a speed test ,not sure what i should be getting but what i am getting is about,
4 mbps  tried on several sites and they are all round about the same. dose that sound bad.i dont want to ring sky yet because it costs a fortune.    Also tried your suggestion Superdave, went through everything you said cant really tell if it as suceeded,
but will give it time
   anyway thanks again for helping me .
