Hmmmm First it was Spybot S&D with TeaTimer and now WinPatrol. Like Patio said though I am still going to run it as its nice to know when something is trying to do something in background. Assuming all features will work still with exception to the unknown of newer OS support for a locked version software. But thinking the only consequence of being version locked may be false positives where it might require more learning vs having rules in the logic as to what is normal from potentially unwanted system background activity.
I loved the Spybot for its TeaTimer years ago, then I discovered WinPatrol and switched to the dog that would bark to warn me of something potentially unwanted happening.
