folder permissions

Can anyone help me out?  I need help in adding mutiple groups to a folder. Can any please give me the command to do so? . thanks.

    You should be able to just add another folder when you are in the group. If that doesn't work, then just create another folder and just drag it to the group folder you want to add to.

    Folder permissions are different on Linux compared to Windows NTFS.  On NT-based systems, each item (folder, file) can belong to multiple groups.  On Linux file systems, an item belongs to one group only.  To allow multiple people (or even groups) rights to the item, add the person or group to the group that owns the item.
