    Opening Video in Outlook
    « on: January 31, 2019, 04:34:47 PM »
    G'day

I have a Dell Inspiron Gaming Laptop running Windows 10

I have just downloaded latest updates for windows 10 and Microsoft Office.

Since the updates videos I receive in Outlook no longer open and if I click the link at the top that says open in browser it opens in Microsoft Edge which I have disabled.

How do I get my email videos to open again and how do i get them to open in Chrome?

I have searched Google for a solution but most of them say to set Chrome as default browser - Chrome is already set as my default browser and I have even deleted all other browsers from the list.

Another solution was to get Chrome to open mht files but I cannot find any clear instructions on how this is done.

Can someone please give me a workable solution?

You could try saving the video to your computer and then click on it and select "Open with". That usually works.

      Thanks for your response.

Yeah I could and I have been doing that while I look for a solution but I'm time sensitive and it is much quicker if i can just click on the link and it opens like it used to before the update.

So if anyone has a workaround for this I would appreciate it.
