What I wanted to explain is that you can extend the power button outside of the case by using a longer wire pair and a replacement button. The is no limit on how long the wire can be. Well, withing 10 meters or so.  :)

    n interesting video for sure but not something I want to do, at least not at this time. I'm capable but the desk that the PC is on is metal and not only that but it's going to have my wife's computer on it in another room not too long from now. Now when I move the aggravating computer to the desk I'm on now which is particle board, I might consider doing it. Mine is the one not waking the computer and it will be located where the one I'm posting on is now. Thanks again for your help, it was much appreciated.
