Ipad freezing

Hello,

My 5th gen 128gb ipad freezes once I press the sleep/wake button.
It works fine when I am using it, but once I press the sleep /wake button and then try to use it again it just freezes.
When I then press and hold the home and sleep /wake button and wait for apple logo, it works fine until I then press the sleep /wake button and the process starts again.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.

Also, what is the storage capacity of this iPad and how much free internal data storage space is left inside of this iPad?
