      Just install it and done.
You can import anything you had in IE before. So no loss...But a lot of gain :) Leave IE for updates.

Ok, so I shouldn't delete IE?

If you are asking for conflicts there is no. I am using both for months. And IE might be required for Windows updates and etc...
So leave it. Make Firefox your default browser and have a fun.  ;)

No settings must be changed for Firefox to work. Just leave Inetrnet Explorer as a backup, nad of course, updates. Enjoy!

Just changed to Firefox. SO much faster than IE. My parents already want to get it too.

Install it for them  ;)  Use some extensions as well. Don't bother with the one named "Fasterfox" though. I used it. Kinda stupid... Caused a few problems too.
