Whenever I insert a CD into my CD/DVD RW, my computer restarts...then when it comes back on one of those 'send to windows' things comes up, it says the problem 'minidump' and another file to do with the system, i deleted minidump but it still keeps happening. HELP!? ???

Open Device Manager.
View, Show Hidden Devices.
Uninstall all optical drives, CD, CD-RW, DVD, etc.
Uninstall all devices under Storage Volumes.  Say no to any reboot prompts until you are finished.  Also, if a Storage Volume doesn't uninstall, ignore it and move to the next one.

When this is done, reboot TWICE.

See if this sorts out the restarts.

in the command prompt type this dumpchk.exe -e <dumpfile.dmp> I believe it will
give you more information on what is happening...is embeded with m$osft error reporting log etc..
or is it this cause the problem>
