I'm running Win 7 Home  Edition and have a very strange driver error.  (I did have Win 7 Professional but a repair shop downgraded me.)

I have recovery disks for Windows 7 Professional, 4 disks include applications and drivers.  Can I run them and restore my computer?

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

You should be able to load the drivers from the Driver/Utility disk.  You can restore from the recovery disk set .
If you could give the model of computer I could link you to the instructions of how to do the recovery.
