    Reformat usb to correct size
    « on: May 03, 2021, 01:57:10 AM »
I have a 512 Gb usb but only shows 22 Gb.

Can someone please tell me how to use/run the cmd  function to reset the usb.

I tried the web.. The university of Youtube instructions but my computer doesnt do the same responses.

My computer with the usb connected only shows my laptop hard drive. ( That I can tell )
I tried to, list drives but cmd says not a recognised command.

    Thank you

    Hi

Are you sure it is a 512 GB Pen drive there is a lot of fake pen drives around. Today you would need to pay over $60.00 to get a 512 GB pen drive, if it was less than $60.00 it is most likely a fake.

There is plenty of test programs to detect fake pen drives.
One to try is   Flash Drive/Card Tester

Hello & thank you for your reply.

No Im not certain of the REAL size. I estimate, seeing its an Ironman Face with a 512 sticker on it, that it could any amount in reality.  :-[

I'll run it through your suggested program/s & we'll all find out.
      Cheers ImnoGuru ;D
