    keyboard keys not working

    Hi, i have a dell inspiron laptop. I also have a dog who decided to walk across the key pad and now all of my F keys do function as they used to. The volume keys dont work and the mute key opens a new tab when im online. Also the brightness keys dont work.

      In reply to my own question, if you press the fn key and then the esc key, its changes the way the F keys work.

      Are you saying the Function key does or does not change the function of the f keys? If it does, then things are working as they are supposed to. If it doesn't, then the keyboard is not functioning as it should.
