    IP address settings help
    « on: July 12, 2022, 08:50:06 AM »
    Hello,

I recently set up a virtual network through my Windows 7 desktop computer using the wifi miniport adapter so I could disperse my usb antenna internet connection to other devices wirelessly. This worked great for the first day of use. After I shutdown the computer and then did this same process again another day, I get IP address errors on all devices that try to connect to it.

I've checked that my Internet Protocols are set to automatic and I've also tried resetting and reverting all configurations of IP and DNS through the command prompt, and then starting over. I still get IP errors everywhere.

If anyone can let me know what I may be doing wrong, or advise what settings I should use, that would be great.

     Thanks for any info!

    Allan
