How to remove the duplicate file (1) thing.

I want to remove the duplicate file  (1)  thing.   

Yes, I did a bo-bo and windows did that do me. Anyway  I  have over 100 files like that and would like to find a script or procedure that would do it without making thins hard. Or maybe just forget it and go one with life. 

it does not have to be a batch file.  Just what whats and a sure thing.

What about doing a windows search for *(1) in the folder with the duplicates. Then select the files you want to delete and delete.
