RAID Failure No Boot
« on: February 17, 2006, 11:36:29 AM »
I have a RAID 1 (mirror) on a P4 300 with 2 gig RAM. The PC went down yesterday and turmed itself off. Now there is no boot activity other than HD and CD lights. I am planning on bypassing the RAID controller card and connecting at least one drive directly to the MB. I also realize that MB failure can cause this but before I take the PC in for MB warranty, I would like to check other options. Any suggestions?
