    Bought new 64g flash drive no storage

    Bought a new 64g flash drive when installed in XP computer USB can't write to it and can't format, is this bad or am I missing something?

    I'd test it on a newer OS computer with 7 or newer to see if you get same results. It could be that the drive is just not compatible with XP's Flash Memory support as the Flash Memory sticks have evolved and arent of the same internal construction as earlier XP era Flash Memory sticks. I have for example some Flash Memory sticks that are fine for data storage but dont work as bootable usb sticks because the internals of the flash memory stick just doesnt support booting.
