DVD ROM PROBLEM

I use a PowerBook G4 with built in CD-R  DVD-rom.
It works fine but every time I insert a DVD with DATA, it will eject it.
It is weird because it plays any DVD with a movie, but not with
data like a regular Data-CD.

Any help or suggestion ?

have you tried multiple data DVDs? and what version of X are you running

I've never heard of that.  Macs are built with great integration between software and hardware because they research and build their computers from the same company.  Impossible! I refuse to believe it.
