Do Laptops Stop Charging When Full?
    « on: February 24, 2023, 03:44:24 AM »
    Hello

I have an Inspiron model of Dell laptop. Does the adaptor stop when battery full-charged or I must plug out the adaptor after battery becomes 100%?

    Thank you very much.

Thank you for your question . The Dell inspiron Laptop runs from the external charger and  charges  the battery as required. If the battery is full, electronics in the Laptop turns off the charge. So the battery can't be overcharged. If you disconnect or turn off the adapter then the laptop switches to using the battery. You cannot damage the battery by using the Laptop on the adapter whenever you can.
