So I live in something like a Apartment complex and we have internet service provided for us that we have to pay for.  Now it will only allow for us to connect up to 3 devices for what I am paying.  Is it possible to patch in another router and have it share the signal to it allowing me to connect more devices?

I think the lack of responses you are seeing here is because we're not anxious to help someone break agreements, contracts, laws, rules, etc. While we understand and sympathize with your dilemma, I think this is something that either needs to be worked out with your provider or landlord, or something you can research on your own with a search engine. Sorry - not judging or trying be be confrontational, just iterating policy.
