    Is this Possible
    « on: July 17, 2023, 08:36:36 AM »
I have a laptop  that came with win 10, but constantly reminded to download win 11. Now i would like to have win 11 on my desktop. When I choose to download win 11 , could i have them download directly to an attached new ssd drive, and then connect that drive to my desktop?

No. Microsoft is a company that sells stuff. IMHO, if you try to download 11 on a separate ssd you will find that 10 has some integral components that 11 "looks at" & says yep that fine lets go or in your case 11 will go looking & say NOPE stop the instal.
Effectively you are trying to get a copy of 10 on one computer & 11 on a new computer/drive thus giving you 2 copies of windows.
It takes 15 years to become an overnight success & Windows 10 will add another 10 years to it.
