Dual Monitor issues
« on: February 12, 2024, 09:34:46 AM »
Hi folks
I have been trying to get two monitors to work at the same time I have tried a number of things.
1. I tried a new GPU and moved that one from one slot to another.
2. I tried using the onboard GPU
3. Changed cables from HDMI to DP and mini HDMI
My machine is made up of :
Old case antec, Asus ROG STRIX 390 E GAMING MB, I7 8700 CPU.  S SEASONIC 620 PSU, 32 Gig of  Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz RAM,  SAMSUNG 840 SSD 2 different ones on with Windows the other with Ubuntu 22.04.
2 Dell Monitors same  models. Any suggestions as what else to try would be greatly appreciated.

This then best I can do for you.  A;most all PCs and tablets can d another monitor. some only mirror, many can extend the video to another monitor.
Yup did not say which GPU you have. The documentation for the GPU may help.

Or Look at this:

Or: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000843.htm
Does that help any?  ;D
