any help would be appreciated

Everytime I "X" out of a page, all of my open windows close, it just started happening a couple of days ago.
1) what's wrong with my computer?
2) do i have a virus?
3) how do i fix it?

    It would help to have info on the computer itself, operating system, service packs, any antivirus or spyware being used, when this started, your level of expertise, etc., etc.  ::)
