If you download it into your account's My Documents it should only show up on your account.

As for running the program, that depends on the install. If you install it, I suggest you look out for an option that says 'Install for this user only'

I understand Limewire is full of spyware like Kazaa.  You might want to look into it more or maybe choose another file sharing app.

It's not the Limeware software necessarily. It's downloading warez, etc. that gets you chock full o' malware.

Right.  As far as I know, Limewire doesn't actually put anything undesirable on your computer (some programs such as Kazaa do).  It's what you download using Limewire.  But this goes for ANY filesharing program.  Just...be careful.

Ahh well limewire is still a bit shakey to me due to the amount off addware and spyware on there , limewire is a clever program to relase all these foul virus's onto your pc without even knowing it . i still beliive nearly everything you download of a p2p will give you something bad .

Since this topic talks so much about Limeware, what is it, and what is a P2P? I'm just here to learn.

There's a difference between happening to pick it up somewhere by unsafe practices, and actively seeking to get some.  ;)

limewire dosent have spyware/adware anymore. its what you dl.. remember to check the file size before dling. if a 3 min musicfile is 10 megs theres uasually something else attached to it.. same with a game like sims 2 thats only 6 megs big it might not be the game... and always scan the stuff before you use it just to make sure.
