Can someone help me out?

I just got kings quest 6 after a while and i have got it running. IU got the video and audio(sound effects) working but there is no speech. i tried solving the problem but i cant, my computer only supports  sound blaster and thats it. so with the sound blaster it doesnt still work. Can some one please help me.
My computer details is:

Windows XP
40GB
1.5GHz

Did you download the latest soundcard drivers and game patch?

Is Kings Quest 6 compatible with Windows XP?

maybe the game is not compatible with th OS your currently using.. i suggest you test that with a Windows 98...also try to disable the onboard sound card (if you have) since you use a sound blaster. . . hope i can help!!!

As i say to most people, reinstall, clean the disc (if it uses it to run like most 98 games did)  try that then report back
