Desktop freezes and I lost access to folders
« on: March 19, 2006, 01:36:56 AM »
Every now and then my desktop will freeze and I cannot click on any of the icons on it.  Any other window that I open afterwards remains even after minimizing.  After this happens I can no longer open "My Computer" from the start menu or access any folders.

My OS is:
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

My machine is an AMD Athlon 64 3400+
2.21 GHz with 896 mb of Ram

I can't connect this occurance with opening any programs, although it does seem to happen after downloading a video or something from mIRC, but I can't be sure.

Any ideas?  If anymore info is needed just lemme know.
