    People down here put a lot of things in the freezer lol  batteries, Camara Film, etc. Never understood it lol  :-/

      My grandmother refrigerates batteries. See, when you leave batteries out in the heat, it shortens their life. How, I don't know. However, the refrigerator is never warm when functioning properly, so it provides protection against the heat. :)
