Windows 98SE Startup problem

Hi, I have Windows98 SE, and I am unable to startup my computer today, When Windows98 starts up I get this following message



msvicrt.dll file is linked to the missing export ntdll.dll RtGetNfVerisonNumbers


I can not get pass that screen and into Windows.

either hit the f8 when staring your pc  safe mode>and chose start pc withoutcdrom support at the a:\>prompt type cdwindows enter c:|> scanreg/restore chose the last good cab file.or  again in safe mode this locate the c:\windows\option\cabs ...folder...next to the scanreg icon...is setup....just click it..this will re-install win98 without losing anything....you may not even need the install disk?

You probably have to reinstall win98SE
