Question about image downloads
« on: March 29, 2006, 01:27:49 PM »
This is probably (hopefully) an easy fix.   :D

I am running XP on my laptop, and every time I right-mouse-click to save a picture to my harddrive, instead of saving the picture and format that the site owner has (for example save as:  jamesbrown.jpg) it saves as untitled.bmp.

I looked in my tools but didn't see anywhere where I could change it, as it seems to be set on some kind of default.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

PS - I am running Windows XP, using Internet Explorer 6.0, 256 mg ram with 1.6 mHz.

    Delete your temporary internet files.
    IE>Tools>Internet Options>General.

Thanks loads!  I don't know WHY it worked, or what that has to do with image downloads, but whatever -- it works!

    Thanks again!
