Diablo II

After about 10 minutes of playing Diablo II the computer has an alarm sound(not from speakers)The game plays as normal but the nois is very anoying.How can I stop it.

Any programs running in the background that can be causing it? Your firewall perhaps? I know McAfee firewall used to make an alarm sound...
