problem with my AIW 9800 pro

all of a sudden its starting to get really warm where the power cable is conected, it actually melted the power cable a bit.. and its weird because thats where most of the heat is comeing from. but only the red wire gets hot not the 2 black ones or the yellow. and it gets hotter faster when im playing games. i have installed the new drivers and everything. any help would be really great

Is the fan in the back working? At all? What type of computer is this?

What amazes me the most is that you play games on a PC with a pertially melted power cable. I would leave that off except for bare essentials (like posting here to get this fixed) and not use it until it gets fixed.

haha no i fixed the cord but it gets REALLY hot still, and all fans are working. i continually have to turn off my computer to let the cord cool down, i even borrowed my freinds extra power supply and tried that out with no luck.
