Please explain more. What does ctl-shift-N relate to? Is this a hotkey combo to launch a program? If so, which one?

Let us know. 8-)

It is a hot key combo that will execute a macro. The name of the macro program is Macro Express.

Don't know enough (nothing actually) about Macro Express, but you could write a non-batch script to send keys sequences to whatever program would be executing to interpret the hotkey sequence.

You can also download a manual ($20 USD) from Macro Express which would presumably explain all.

Good luck. 8-)
