reinstall windows xp no cd
« on: May 13, 2006, 10:08:55 PM »
I have a dell, and the way I wipe the pc clean is to restart the pc, then I press some buttons which brings up the restore  "to when I first got my pc"  I've done it before, I just forget those simple keys you press when the pc is booting up.  Anyone know which keys I press.  thanks.

I may be wrong ,but I don't think that wipes it clean ........ It isnt a format but some sort of a restore ....... Probably you repeatedly tap the F8 key at reboot ...and then select the start option you wish. ......... Why dont you have the install/restore CD s ?

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
