Windows 98
« on: May 14, 2006, 12:52:40 PM »
I need to be able to run two video cards, one for 98, one for xp, but for some reason I can't get the older one to run at all.  The older one doesn't need drivers and my newer (Radeon 9800 Pro) doesn't have drivers for 98 (So if someone knows of some I'd love for them to link me to em).   So, is my issue taht the IRQ settings need to be fixed to set it up to boot off the other video card?  Sorry if I managed to confuse anyone reading this.  Thanks for the help too btw.

Why not just abandon Windows 98?  Do you need it for anything in particular?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

Yeah, you confused me.  Are we talking about one computer here or two?  If one, then you have a dual-boot configuration.  Right?

Are you sure a Win 98 driver is not available for the Radeon 9800 Pro?  Looks to me like one is available @ https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=297
