Posting "QA" topics here, how does it work?
« on: May 18, 2006, 09:59:31 AM »
Who is eligible to post these topics?  Does the originator simply pick the next number in sequence, such as QA0041, or whatever, and use that number in the title?  I see that the originator can lock these topics to further replies.  How does that work?

soybean......   Who can post in Q and A .......... Anyone may post in the Q and A section.......   And yes , you would use the next number in sequence .....for example ..... right now , the next QA # would be ......QA0041
And yes ,the topic can be locked or made a sticky ..... however to do this the poster would have to be either a QA moderator or a full board moderator .
If you have ... or.... wish to post in this section ...thats ok , but when your satisfied with your post simply ask a mod lock it for you .

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

To corroborate (sp?) dl65's point, posting FAQ threads was how I became a Mod in the first place. :)
