Google Web Accelerator

There is a new toolbar thing from Google. It is called Google Web Accelerator. I would like to know if it really works. (it is not for Dial-Up)
What is does is this:
It takes your internet connection, and redirects it to the Google servers. It stores a temp catch that allows you to load internet pages from the internet faster. (does not work for dial up, does not speed up download time)

(I would also like to take this time to tell people about the Google toolbar. It comes with this neat thing that checks for spelling errors in forms and fields. Go try it out)

Google is everyone's friend, but we're talking about the search engine, not the mistake for Spyware.

OMG ....... Another useless toolbar full of crap .......
I expect it is no better than any of the other accelerators ..........  Download speed is dictated by the ISP...... If their claim is to be believed ...then we should be able to do a download speed test with out the accelerator ........ and tthen again with it ........ and the D/L speed should be faster ......... RIGHT ........  LOL ......... I rather doubt it .

It's not for me that toolbar. I also avoid all extra toolbars.

well to speed up my mozilla browser i use some settings and not this web accelarator
