my computer is hibernating on an internet game

i would jist like to no what is wrong with my computer i am playing an internet game and it is making my computer hibernate all by its self it can go on for an  hour perfectly fine or it can take 10 mins before it hibernates all by its self again anyone have any suggestions to this problem please

for imformation on what my computer is it is a windows xp professional 2002 version and it has 256 mb of ram 8-)

When did this start? Has it ever played the game without this issue? Are you sure it's hibernating and not turning off?

How about a computer or motherboard make/model. That would be more helpful and informatve.
